Why Polaris Music Studio’s pre-college Program?
artistic & technical foundation
At Polaris Music Studio, our Pre-College Program is designed to ignite our students’ passions for music while providing a solid foundation in both artistic and technical skills. We focus on essential music fundamentals, such as music theory and ear training, refining technique, fostering creative exploration through improvisation, and preparing students for auditions, performances, and recordings.
performance & recording opportunities
Preparing for performances and auditions is a transformative process for our students. The process of preparing for performances and recordings propels them to the next level of their artistic and technical development, helping them to build the crucial skills they need as professional musicians.
music industry & career guidance
We encourage our students’ curiosity about the music industry and careers in music. Our program brings real-world expertise from our experience as artist managers and producers. We educate about the music industry and provide honest guidance to our students for their auditions, recordings, and pursuits of higher education. We nurture our students’ musical passion by providing them with knowledge that they, and their families, need to make informed decisions about their future.
personal development
Polaris Music Studio's Pre-College Program is more than music education—it's an investment in our students’ personal development. Our program equips them with a robust learning process that extends beyond music, inspiring them to reach their full potential in all areas of life. We are committed to our students’ holistic growth.

However, we decide whether or not to take on a student based upon many criteria, including that prospective student’s, and their parents’, level of commitment. If a prospective student under the age of 14, and their parents, have a high level of commitment to the study of piano, voice, or composition, then we would absolutely consider giving that student an opportunity to study with us.
